Rotary Club of Gulfport - Orange Grove recently partnered with many Mississippi Gulf Coast community entities to purchase and install a washer and dryer set at Gulf Coast Community Ministries.
Rotary Club of Gulfport - Orange Grove recently partnered with many Mississippi Gulf Coast community entities to purchase and install a washer and dryer set at Gulf Coast Community Ministries. This was an amazing project that the club has completed in partnership with First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) on Dedeaux Road who covered the first half of the appliances, Beacon Electric (owned by RCGOG member Ron Doughtery) who installed the required electrical, and Air Masters Mechanical of Gautier owned by Chris Crawford, son of Kathie Short - Past District Governor Rotary District 6840, who installed the necessary plumbing. The cost of the electrical was $1500 and the cost of the plumbing was $2200, this was a great projects and thanks to all of the Rotarians involved! A dedication will soon be held and at that time Rotary Club of Gulfport- Orange Grove will also present a $1000 check for the purchase of food and hygiene products.
